Hi Everyone,

It really blows my mind when I wrote the heading to think that we've been at this for 39 days--we're almost Moses who wandered in the desert for 40 days!

This was another good day although 90 miles is only 10 short of another century so we sure seem to be racking up the mileage in these states.

Today was like the other days in that we rode all day and didn't even see a filling station. I found food in a couple little convenience stores but that's it--this is really rural Michigan and farm land everywhere although it is not as "manicured" looking as Minnesota. was.

I had 60 miles before noon today--more like 11:30, so I was really making tracks and Gabriel caught up to me shortly after that.

The terrain is mostly flat so that's something I'm good at (Smiles)

Everyone says I really am improving--too bad I couldn't be at this point when the odyssey started--maybe I'll have to go back and start all over!!

It is a series of miracles that I made all the miles on all those tough days we've had but it is sheer determination that keeps me going and knowing I have the support of so many family and friends.

Today is goodbye to another state--Michigan.

This makes seven states now that I've ridden across--Hooray!! When we got to Port Huron the street we needed was not marked so we stopped to ask a "local"  He owns a barber shop called "Jim's Barber" but what is funny is there is a dog grooming business next door and their sign called the Doggie Barber Dog Grooming sits right in front of Jim's barber shop and I guess the landlord won't do anything about it--everybody has their problems!!!

We've had just a little glimpse of Lake Huron and did see the big bridge that will take us to Canada tomorrow so I will tell you more tomorrow--all I know is they stop traffic so we all ride over together in our ABB shirts.

This will be the first time we actually have all ridden together--it should be fun. Some of the riders are afraid of heights so they will just find their place in the middle of the pack and try to forget where they are.

Time for route rap to find all the details about tomorrow when we cross into Canada to ride for a couple of days.

Bye for  now,

Love, Patricia
