The Perfect Song That Fits The Pics On The Right...

Young At Heart

Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you
If you’re young at heart
For it’s hard, you will find, to be narrow of mind
If you’re young at heart

You can go to extremes with impossible schemes
You can laugh when your dreams fall apart at the seams
And life gets more exciting with each passing day
And love is either in your heart or on it’s way

Don’t you know that it’s worth every treasure on earth
To be young at heart
For as rich as you are it’s much better by far
To be young at heart

And if you should survive to 105
Look at all you’ll derive out of being alive
Then here is the best part
You have a head start
If you are among the very young at heart

And if you should survive to 105
Look at all you’ll derive out of being alive
Then here is the best part
You have a head start
If you are among the very young at heart
It's hard to sing it without hearing Frank Sinatra..

Comments from Patricia

Just a quick note thank you all for your support! Yes we are hurting but not dead!! Our spirit says to finish this and that we will!

After finding out about the van being found and burnt to the ground, possibly by someone who stole all the items inside then perhaps used the van to commit a crime.

The police said it is common for the thieves to set the vehicles on fire to remove their finger prints. The license plates were gone, and it was still smoldering about 30 miles out of town when police found it.

Patricia and I have been in shock. We thought this was all a bad dream,

That morning Patricia needed some dry socks as she had just put in about 50 miles in the rain the evening before. So I went outside at approximately 6:15 am. My hair was standing straight up and my eyes were still glued shut and I could not believe what I did not see!

I even tried to clean my eyes but still no van, only an empty parking space. At first Patricia and I both thought we were each just fooling around, but I do not joke around that early in the morning, nor ever play about anything like this anytime!!

The police took the report and we did find out that there was another vehicle stolen out of the Holiday Inn lot just the night before.

Also, the guy at the desk just failed to tell his guests as many other places will inform you to remove all belongings when crime is high in the area.

I was upset at that as he told us directly after we found our van had been stolen. I did call the manager and she is going to reinstruct the desk personal to warn their customers, but that's too late for us now.

I jumped in a ABB sag wagon to get to Niagara Falls. It is everything we expected and more. We took a tour after two interviews this morning with channel  2   news@wgrz.com and the Niagara Gazette. The paper will be out tomorrow.

As some of you know, Patricia lost everything in a fire once before in her lifetime and now our van being destroyed in a fire, but then to top it all off, when we were having our interview with Jill Terreri from the Niagara newspaper, the fire alarm in the motel went off. I just put my head on the pillow of the bed in disbelief. We grabbed our cameras computer and photos and ran out the door only to find out it was a false alarm.

We are still trying to figure what will be the best way home. I will attempt to try to ride some on the remainder of the days when a bike is available towards the end of the ride. Someone else needs it tomorrow or I would of done it then. Maybe Wednesday.

We want to thank everyone for their love and support during these tough times. If anyone wants to help, please help the scholarship fund. That would make Patricia feel great!

Here are some shots of the falls on our tour today. Lots of  love to everyone who has sent us e-mails and support calls. We really appreciate it.

P.S. Patricia almost got hit by a car the other day so we are looking at all of this in perspective.

Peace to All,

Gabriel
