About Twin Falls Idaho

Twin Falls is a scenic city located at the edge of the spectacular Snake River Canyon. Situated halfway between Boise and Pocatello, Idaho's 4th largest city was carved out of the rugged sagebrush-covered desert.

The city is the seat of Twin Falls County, and both are named for the falls seven miles away.

Comments from Patricia

Hi All, Yesterday was a l-o-n-g day so I'm just getting caught up tonight!

We had a 98 mile day --wonder how many pedals that actually is!  It was a beautiful day though with really nice weather and a few little clouds to keep us cool. I left a little after six and really boogied in the morning as I had done 50 miles by 11:30. when Gabriel caught up to me. I can feel how my 12 days of experience has enabled me to ride faster--broken toe and all.

Susie Ceriale has saved my life with the shoes she sent--they are working great--what a thoughtful friend and because they are a little big, there is room for my swollen little toe.

Amazing what all those pedals do though, usually an accumulation of assorted colors from an injury lasts 5 days to a week but all the colors disappeared after a day with all the commotion down there. It only hurts when I sleep and walk--not pedal so how lucky can I be??

Gabriel and I met in Bliss today--I didn't way we are in Bliss even though we are--how is that for confusing. Anyway, the pictures of me hugging the dinosaur and my posing  on the old 40's fire engine are probably the main attractions in Bliss.

Trucking on, I've never seen so many cattle in my life--must have been thousands of them. The reward at the end of this long day came about five o'clock as we approached the bridge what crosses over the Snake River Gorge. It is incredibly beautiful to stand on top and look down at a gorgeous golf course so far below you it makes your head spin!!

Mother Nature surely put on a show here. There were such big wind gusts coming up to the bridge it almost blew my bicycle out from under me--that's the second time I wished I weighed another 100 pounds (just kidding) What an accomplishment to have almost another century under my belt!

Love, Patricia
