Hi Everyone,  Here I go again--I finally had this started and the computer decided to hibernate again so away we go again.

This morning was a pure pleasure to ride--in fact Gabriel had promised to come early because this was a 92 mile day and the weather report was that it was going to be very hot. When he caught up to me about 10:00am I had already gone 51 miles so I was more than half way there. This morning was the reward for all the work of yesterday--106 miles into a headwind that did not let up all day. I was just a little twig that was being beaten to a pulp.Yesterday was harder than riding over the Togwotee Pass because the wind never let up. Usually we have both ups and downs but not yesterday.  So, the reward came this morning when you could actually pedal and get somewhere and we also did lose some altitude so it was great. 

The afternoon was another matter though as we had two climbs and when we finally got to Hot Springs, it was HOT--someone said the thermometer said 102 and it felt like it. So it seems like we have something of everything in each day.

My angel just kept spraying me with cold water and I just kept pedaling so we got to the destination.  It's kind of funny now when we have a 92 miler. It's like "oh, well, we did 120 and 106 last week". 

We had breakfast at 5:00 so had gotten up at 4:15 this am and we were on the road by 5:30.  You can see why I can't stay up until midnight and catch up on my correspondence. I"m still thinking of all friends and family even though I can't stay in touch daily.
